We provide a programme of regular group sessions and activities for young people. All these activities aim to allow young people to build confidence, share new experiences, make friends, learn English and have fun!
Activities include a weekly Youth Club for young people aged 14 to 25 years old on termtime Thursdays at 5.30pm – 8.30pm, which takes place in Brixton. We provide ESOL and maths classes (5.30pm – 6.30pm), art workshops, games, sports and a community meal. Please contact Zeek, the Youth Activities Coordinator (zeek@slr-a.org.uk / 07926 581484) or call the office 0203 4903443 to refer a young person.
Our Youth Participation Group ‘Care for Young Migrants’ meets periodically to discuss issues affecting young migrants. We also deliver workshops for young people about community organising and leadership skills, creative activities and go on fun trips. Please contact Polly (polly@slr-a.org.uk / 07711 198594) for further details.
